TIPS FOR YOUR DESK MOVE

Sort through your paper, filing and draws.

Sort out what is essential to be taken to the new office as early as possible.

Recycle, archive or take home anything that is not needed for your day to day operational activities.

From now until the move, start to consider finding 10 minutes to clear as much from your desk as possible. The earlier you have sorted out what is essential, the less you will have to do in the run up to the move.

YOUR DESK

DESK CRATE

You will be given a personal crate on the 17th August.

Important Information about your crate:

This allows you 2 weeks to be able to dispose of clutter and ensure you can fit everything that is essential into your crate. It will be taken over to 16 Babmaes Street and placed on your desk to unpack on your first day in the new office.

The crate MUST be packed, with the lid on fully and placed on your desktop for the movers to collect the crate. Anything not in the crate or if the crate lid does not fully close the crate the movers will not collect them and your desk contents will not be taken to the new office.

You will NOT need to pack your telephone handset or any computer equipment into your personal crate.

Items you WILL need to pack are:

  • Pens and other stationery

  • Telephone headsets

  • Trays, magazine folders or any other filing equipment you currently use and wish to use at the new office

  • The contents of your pedestal
